At the 2025 PRODURABLE exhibition, Vincent Callebaut had the pleasure of taking part in an inspiring conference alongside Christian Clot (Human Adaptation Institute), Tania-Bénédicte M’BAKA (NGO Migrations Climat International), and Alcyme Delannoy (Caisse d'Épargne Île-de-France), skillfully moderated by Françoise Blind from Écologie 360 Magazine.

Four perspectives, four disciplines, one shared urgency: imagining how humanity can relearn to coexist with the living world in a time of profound transformation.

In the face of ecological, demographic, and technological upheavals, Vincent Callebaut shared his conviction that architecture must become regenerative — no longer a consumer, but a producer of energy, biodiversity, and social connection.

To inhabit territories in 2050 means designing cities as symbiotic ecosystems, as “living organisms” able to recycle their resources, store carbon, enhance residents’ quality of life, and restore the landscapes they occupy.

Au salon PRODURABLE 2025, Vincent Callebaut a eu le plaisir de participer à une conférence inspirante aux côtés de Christian Clot (Human Adaptation Institute), de Tania-Bénédicte M’BAKA (ONG Migrations Climat International) et de Alcyme Delannoy (Caisse d'Epargne Ile-de-France), le tout savamment orchestré par Françoise Blind du Magazine Écologie 360.

Quatre regards, quatre disciplines, une même urgence : Imaginer comment l’humanité peut réapprendre à cohabiter avec le vivant dans un monde en pleine mutation.

Face aux bouleversements écologiques, démographiques et technologiques, Vincent Callebaut a partagé sa conviction que l’architecture doit devenir régénérative : non plus consommatrice, mais productrice d’énergie, de biodiversité et de lien social. Habiter les territoires en 2050, c’est concevoir des villes comme des écosystèmes symbiotiques, des “organismes vivants” capables de recycler leurs ressources, stocker le carbone, améliorer la qualité de vie de leurs habitants tout en restaurant les paysages qu’elles occupent.

Ce futur n’est pas une utopie : il se bâtit dès aujourd’hui, dans chaque projet d’urbanisme et d'architecture, chaque matériau biosourcé, chaque mètre carré végétalisé.
