(re)designing nature

Current Concepts for Shaping Nature in Art and Landscape Architecture

(re)designing nature features innovative design concepts for nature in the urban context. Contemporary artists, architects,, and landscape architects present concepts for alternative uses of urban wastelands and former industrial areas, and design parasitical gardens in the middle of cities, or utopian visions of the future involving symbiotic relationships between culture and nature. The exhibition will inspire thought about our current relationship to nature, and infuse life into the most recent debates about socially fair, ecologically sustainable, and aesthetically up-to-date environmental design.
